Performance & Optimization Notes
Please be aware that this is a highly detailed map. While it has been extensively optimized to ensure the best possible experience, performance is primarily hardware limited due to the sheer scale of the environment. Recommended Settings To get the most out of your system, I recommend adjusting your in game settings based on your hardware:
High-End Systems: Setting Foliage, Object, and LOD Distance to 200% will render assets across the entire map for maximum visual fidelity.
Mid-to-Low End Systems: For a significant FPS boost, I recommend lowering these settings to 100%–150%. This reduces the rendering load without sacrificing the core gameplay experience.

No new save required
To keep Witcombe running smoothly and give you the best gameplay experience, I’ve released a small follow up patch that tidies up a few final issues.
Itch has now upgraded my account, which means you no longer need to rename the main map file it’s handled automatically.
If you use the texture packs, you’ll still need to follow the steps to reapply them.

Land spawn areas adjusted so they no longer appear inside buildings

Fixed a forest sapling on road edge on main road (new save to show or use landscape tool to remove)
Fixed gap in fence at woodland hill farm (new save to show or fix it in game construction tools)
Fixed a couple of trees slightly in field 29 (new save or chop them down)
Made a small road down from forest to make field 42 and 33 more accessible ( new save or create your own with in game construction tools)
Changed TMR mixtures in start up food mixed. Irreverent for all saves out there and just fixes new saves.

Added the ability for traffic to enter the petrel station and duel carriageway lay by for a while and stop. ( Thanks to @Derwen Modding script )

I have requested to itch to upgrade my itch account so I can upload files bigger than 1gb which will make everyone's life a lot easier. While we wait for this we will have to put up with renaming the file every time.
Please remember that HD textures have to be applied again with every patch which is why I want to keep patch's at a minimum.
