Landlord lets you lease owned fields or farmland to autonomous AI tenants. They run a full cycle—plow, cultivate, seed, grow, and harvest—while you keep a fair share of the profit. When a real crop field exists, tenants use the game’s field work systems; otherwise the mod falls back to ground updates and visible machinery on the land.
How it works
Use a simple console command to lease a field or farmland you own. Tenants progress through plowing, cultivating, seeding, growing, and harvesting. Stage time scales with field size. At harvest, costs (seed, fertilizer, herbicide, fuel, vehicle lease) are taken off gross revenue, then profit is split by how much of the cycle the tenant actually did.
Smart start
If the field is already plowed, cultivated, or ready to harvest, the lease starts at the right stage instead of always starting from plow. Idle fields are preferred when several fields sit on one farmland. Growing crops are not overwritten.
Work modes
Crop field present: Tries real in-game field work where possible.
No crop field: Updates ground state and runs decorative machinery on the parcel
Revenue share (tenant)
Full cycle: up to 55%
Skipped steps reduce the tenant’s share (plow / cultivate / seed / care / harvest each contribute a portion)
Poor yields give the tenant a small support bonus
Extras
Fertilizer and herbicide applied during the cycle to match costs.
Tenant machines spawn at the field edge, oriented along the work direction.
Savegame persistence for active leases.
Console tools for status, field list, and forced v.ehicle cleanup.
Main commands
leasetoai <id> — lease field or farmland (Auto renewed).
unleaseai <id> — Soft Finishes current cycle, ends after harvest (free).
leasecancel <id> — Hard Ends now, despawns vehicles, charges $5,000 fine.
leaseStatus — active leases.
leasefields — field ↔ farmland list.
leaseDespawn [id|all|orphans] — remove tenant vehicles.
Ideal if you want passive income from land you already own without managing every fieldwork hour yourself.
