Had drive around and had a lot of issues with clipping into the landscape when way up top, was very weird but consistent. The higher I went worse it got. If you are into big timber and road building this is great but too many issues for me to enjoy it.

Hello, where can I get a harvester JD like in the first screenshot?

@ArdentPhoenix6 Pretty sure there is one in the mod hub https://www.kingmods.net/en/fs25/mods/70571/john-deere-3756g

Been waiting for something like this. The one thing I am missing is a the ability to know how many trees I have felled. Hope it works for bunchers as well.(Edit: It doesn't 😟)

My biggest concern is how it may handle other non coniferous species such as beech and aspen, which tend to be common on a lot of maps I play on. I am going to test today and see how it goes.

@DiscoFlower8890 Ah righto gotcha re bunchers. It doesn't matter, I do like to use them on flatish maps, my steep country save atm harvesters are better. I might dig into myself at sometime and see how badly I can break things.

I've seen Birch I can snip off with a woodcracker, but any I have seen that I have tried to use a harvester on always says it is not straight timber and can't be used. I've yet to see one that I can. What I have atm is spruce, pine, beech, aspen and 'other' which I guess covers everything for now. The F1 help is a bit crowded showing inputs but users can try the mod that allows them to toggle things off there if necessary. I tend not to even display it. Only small glitch I haveis the left hand column of teh alt-m page is the very last row is kind of cut off, which is 'other pulp' but I'll look at that at some stage.
I've been a bit unwell (again) and have had hands full with family and a couple of other small projects as energy allows, I'll pop my changes up to git for inspection when I get the chance to attend to that gui issue in the alt-m. I also need todo some adjusting via styles.lua as some colours, mainly the specific machine colours are not consistent.

really just doing this for my own use/learning but if it is eventually merged, that's cool, if not, also cool.
