Hi, I really like Tractor Terrain Dynamics. Would it be possible to add support for non-field natural surfaces in a future updat? At the moment, TTD works very well on fields, but non-field surfaces such as grass, gravel, dirt roads and forest roads are mostly treated like normal hard ground. It would be great if these surfaces could also have reduced grip / increased rolling resistance, while keeping asphalt and concrete unchanged. Wheel sink could still remain field-only. I tested this on the Highlands Fishing map, where GIANTS can distinguish hard roads from natural terrain through the wheel ground data, even when the surface is outside a field. Thanks for the great mod!
@Ssin
Thanks for the detailed suggestion! I really like the idea of natural surfaces (grass, gravel, dirt roads) having reduced grip and more rolling resistance, while keeping asphalt/concrete unchanged and sink field-only.
I need to test how much extra overhead this adds for many vehicles - more surface checks could impact performance on large servers. But I'll look into it. No promises, but this is exactly the kind of improvement I want to study.
Thanks again for testing and understanding how TTD works!
sympa mais depuis son installation je ne peux plus acceder aux parametres du jeu ca me dit que je n'ai pas la permission de modifier les parametres du jeu

TTD does NOT block access to game settings. It only adds a difficulty option and keybindings for the HUD – nothing else.
The settings issue is coming from another mod in your setup.
To find it:
Disable all mods except TTD
Check if settings open
Enable mods one by one until you find the one that breaks it
TTD is not the problem here. It's one of your other mods.
@jackplack
Do you have ModMixer installed?
If yes - that’s your problem. ModMixer can block the TTD HUD from showing up. It doesn't throw an error, it just silently disables it.
To fix it:
Go to modSettings/FS25_ModMixer/ and delete the file switchboard.xml
Restart the game
The HUD will be back. If you don't have ModMixer, then delete modSettings/TTD_HUD_Settings.xml instead and restart.
Let me know if that helps.
TTD is now officially available on ModHub! Version 1.0.3.5 passed Giants certification and is LIVE.
Grab it from the in-game ModHub or the ModHub website. Thank you to everyone who helped test, translate, and give feedback this wouldn't have happened without you!

I like this mod very much, but it still has some problems.
it didn't rain at all, the water index is at 10-30% and i'm still sinking in (not everywhere but in many places). and when I drive furter (on ther road or off the field) some tires still remain sunken in. it does not help if I unhook the equipment or drive arount for a while. the only thing that helps is if I reset the tractor. I belive I have no other mods that change the wheel radius or ground physique whatsoever
@Dari Fiatagri What map are you on? If it's a mod map, the ground types might not be set up correctly - TTD reads the game's densityType to determine field vs road. If the map uses field ground on roads, TTD thinks you're still on a field. Try the same situation on a base game map. I also can't reproduce this sinking from the comments alone - without a video or exact reproduction steps, I can't diagnose further.

@Dari Fiatagri Thanks for the report. Are you using Mud System Physics (MSP) together with TTD? If yes - that's the conflict. MSP keeps its own wheel radius and doesn't fully release it when you leave the field. TTD works correctly standalone - wheels recover on road. Try disabling MSP and check again.
TTD is physics-only and works only on fields.
It changes: wheel slip, ground resistance, sink, engine load. On roads - nothing.
It never touches: harvesting, crops, contracts, or any non-physics system.
Only possible conflict: another mod that also changes wheel radius.
If harvesting is broken - it's not TTD.
