Hello everyone,
we are delighted to present our latest collaborative project from FF Modding and the LM Modding Store today! With the Extended Forestry System, we are taking forestry in the simulator to a whole new level of realism.
Gone are the days of annoying standard restrictions and unrealistic physics. We are reworking core functions to offer you a truly immersive and in-depth forestry experience.
Key features at a glance:
• Free felling: The standard message "You are not allowed to fell this tree" is completely disabled. From now on, you have full freedom in the forest.
• Realistic winch cable: When you start cutting a tree, the winch cable remains firmly attached to the trunk and no longer comes loose.
• Innovative wedge system: You can cut manual wedge pockets into the tree and then drive in physical metal wedges to determine the felling direction perfectly and realistically.
The core scripts are already in place, and we are currently in an intensive testing and optimization phase. Further updates, pictures and videos will follow shortly!
