This is my list of script mods I use on every save for FS25.
I like to play as realistically as possible, without complicating things more than it has to (that's why probably there are more interesting realism mods out there, but because I don't use them, can't recommend them - I have no idea how they work).
Huge shout out to Ritter for Realistic Livestock (originally by Arrow), also for other modders who bring this amazing mods for us, that change the gameplay, sometimes drastically. Giants pay attention and learn how it should been the vanilla game.
Also Red Tape is a game changer: it brings some rules for farming and the schemes reward is nice.
I want to mention that Enhanced Animal System and Real Vehicle Breakdowns mentioned in the list are simpler alternatives for Realistic Livestock and Advanced Damage System. ADS is better in all the ways, but needs more attention from the player (cleaning the filters, periodically maintenance, care for the machines etc...). Also Move Husbandry Animals is optional when playing with Realistic Livestock because it has this function already (although the moving menu is accessible from the mod menu, not pressing a key in the animal trigger).
Disclaimer: Universal Autoload and Easy Development Controls are not mods for realism, but I still use them (first one when I am tired of pallet simulator, second one to prepare my savegame).
Also I love Cab Cinematic from Github, that is not listed on Kingmods.
Update 12.05 - added some of the new script that just launched and two old (variable tire pressure and wheel slip).
Opțional (mostly for forestry maps) - Growing Random Trees.
Soon: a top 10 of these mods that I would love to see in the next FS game iteration in the vanilla, plus some personal request (wishing Giants would pay attention to us).
