A new way to work with forestry in Farming Simulator 25 has arrived!
FPS Forestry Concession is a mod that introduces a forestry concession system, allowing the player to acquire timber harvesting rights on land that does not belong to their farm.
The goal is to make forestry work more planned, strategic and realistic by simulating an authorized harvesting process: defining an area, assessing the available timber, identifying the trees, paying for the concession and carrying out the felling.
Unlike traditional land purchases, the player does not need to acquire the entire property. They only pay for the right to cut the authorized trees within the contracted area.
🌲 HOW DOES IT WORK?
✅ Custom delimitation: choose a forested region and mark the points that define the harvesting area.
✅ Timber assessment: check the available trees and the estimated concession value before purchasing.
✅ Tree marking: identify the trees using the game’s built-in spray system.
✅ Concession purchase: make the payment and acquire the harvesting rights without having to buy the land.
✅ Authorized harvesting: cut the trees included in the contract.
✅ Contract persistence: track your progress and continue your harvesting operation when returning to the saved game, following the save procedure indicated below.

- SHIFT + O — Mark area point

- SHIFT + ENTER — Complete delimitation
- SHIFT + L — Assess timber
- SHIFT + I — View assessment
- SHIFT + K — Buy concession
⚠️ IMPORTANT — MANDATORY SAVING (IF THIS IS A NEW SAVE TO GENERATE THE MOD FILES)
Before starting to delimit any forested area, you must save the game at least once after entering the map.
This first save allows the necessary files to be prepared so that the mod can record information about the concessions acquired by players.
After saving for the first time, you can delimit areas, assess trees and buy concessions as normal.
Attention: if you buy a concession before this first save, the contract information may not be recovered when you leave and return to the game.
🌐 MULTIPLAYER
Multiplayer support is enabled, and basic functionality was observed during the tests carried out.
However, complete tests with two or more simultaneous players are still pending, especially to verify whether other members of the same farm can cut the trees from a concession acquired by another player.
This shared functionality has not yet been confirmed.
