Description
The EC135 with the type series P2, P2e as well as P2+ and P3 (H135) is the most frequently used rescue helicopter in German air rescue.
It reaches a cruising speed of around 220 km/h, but is low in pollution and
profitable. Like the H145, its Fenestron rear rotor makes it particularly safe and quiet.
Due to its spacious interior, higher take-off weight and more powerful engines, the EC135 can also be used as an intensive care transport (ITH) helicopter.
With the H135, each engine has a maximum output of around 818 hp.
The maximum flight altitude is 6,060 meters and the range is about 611 km with a fuel load of 700.5 liters.
The maximum take-off weight is 2,980 kg.
