BDM Artayus
Trailed disc harrows are used for loosening and preparing the soil for sowing, weed control and shredding
crop residues, as well as for seedbed preparation without prior plowing
and soil cultivation after the harvest of thick-stemmed row crops.
The harrow is designed for use on soils with different physical-mechanical properties – with a terrain slope of up to 10°,
flat or wavy microrelief, a soil moisture content of up to 28%, a soil hardness in the tillage layer
of up to 3.5 MPa and a height (length) of plant residues of up to 25 cm.
The arrangement of each disc on its own axle, along with the independent adjustment of the angles of attack, contributes to improved agronomic results
in soil cultivation and reduces the tractor's draft requirement.
Eliminating a shared axle for multiple discs prevents crop residue buildup and makes the use of scrapers unnecessary.
The BDM series allows for a reduction in tillage time by two to three times, as three to five operations are combined in a single pass.
