v1.3.2.0: on saves past ~day 50, field wetness resets to dry every load.
simulationTimeMs is stored as absolute ms (monotonicDay*86,400,000 + dayTime) and
overflows 2^32 (49.7 days); getXMLFloat reads it back mod 2^32, so the cursor loads
tiny and the drying catch-up (remainingHours = now - cursor, ~thousands of h) floors
the wetness. Repro: set simulationTimeMs=17570132432 in mudSystemLocalWetness.xml →
reads back 390263232. Confirmed with only your mod active.

I don't know if I'm missing something, but I have an issue with soil moisture being Saturated all the time, I've set my region to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It only takes one day with 5mm of rain for all fields to be saturated and even three days of dry weather(on a 28 day cycle) didn't dry the ground at all. This makes no sense, I work in farming and there's just no way soil get saturated by 5mm, much less keep being saturated days later. Next day should be fine to do field work.

Have I missed something? Because I'm getting really annoyed by this. I have all field being saturated for 6 months, before I decided to start over and it still does the same. Sure it's not as dry in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern as it is in Greece, but it's not swampland either.

EDIT: Looking at the numbers it seems to only be the Surface Moisture being an issue. It's too slow to dry and is almost never dropping below 100% nFK, the rest is fine within the realistic parameters.

EDIT 2: I tried forcing 10 days of dry weather in July temps between 20-25 degrees and humidity between 60-90% and not once did the nFK drop below 100%.

@ElonMuck  hmm im still having issue with it tbh, still seem to be getting "incorrect" amounts of rain

interesting, because on my save the surface does dry: the field edges and a neighbouring field dropped to ~90% nFK in about 2–3 days. So it's not universally "won't dry" — which makes me think there might be two overlapping things going on:

The frozen-cell issue I described in another comment here: RWSM cells that don't get driven over stop being updated — their last timestamp falls 30+ in-game days behind the game clock. A cell like that won't move no matter what weather you force, because it isn't being recomputed at all. That would look exactly like your test — "10 dry days in July and the nFK never dropped." Worth checking: drive over the exact spot you're watching and see if the number suddenly jumps/updates. If it does, that cell was frozen, not failing to dry.
For me the actual break is different from yours: the surface dries fine, but any rain instantly shoots it back to ~150%, and with regular rain it never stays workable long enough to do fieldwork. This is on default game weather, no weather mods — so RWSM's rain→surface response seems disproportionate relative to how slowly it dries back down.

Anyone else than me experiencing 54 seconds freeze when saving?

RWSM seems to keep a cell for every field ever worked and never prune them — including contract/AI fields you don't own. My save had ~250,000 agronomy cells in a 535 MB rwsmState_v2.xml, and most cells' last timestamps lagged the game clock by 30+ in-game days — i.e. the per-frame update can't keep up, so untrafficked field centers "freeze" at an old (wet) value until you drive over them. Pruning cells for unowned / long-untouched fields would likely cut both the save size/freezes and the update backlog. Great mod — hoping this helps narrow it down.
