Semi-retired from modding.
Permission and Usage Notice
You are free to use my multi-fruit and production assets in your own maps, as long as you credit me and all specified contributors listed in my modDesc.xml. Some crops included are not originally mine — I only have permission to use them — so please make sure to include proper credits for all contributors.
The multi-fruit prefab is now publicly available, and you may use it directly from the released package.
You are also free to convert all my productions and products from FS22 for use in FS25 or other compatible versions, provided you maintain proper credit attribution (also if I don't come back for next FS iteration, you may convert the FS25 assets to the next game, but please give credentials).
🔗 https://jinkou89.itch.io/ - keep an eye on the page because I might drop more prefabs if I make them.
🔗 https://discord.gg/3KYKKmySPV - but no more official updates, because I retired.
Thank you for your support!
BTW. A nice DLC or base-game mechanic: corn cob harvesting for maize, with specialized harvesters from Oxbo and others, maybe even CCM and CCM fermented for pigs. Also the possibility to ferment different things in the same bunker, like my maps that uses the Maize Plus bunker silo script from FS22.
You are right, but seems like they need to make more money with every game implementing just few things what they should did in farming simulator 2022 at least. I understand new engine and a new variety of implementing things, but when there gonna be at least half of your (and my) expectations? Modders do a titanic job implementing things what should be vanilla(most of them don't earn a coin, doing all the work for the community) and Giants make DLC with few equipment and tractors and adding Wild Life Crop destruction(Boars - what should be a free update) to squeeze more and more money. No one wait for game to be free, is a big company, they need to pay salaries, but is almost a grinding series of games. What gonna be in next Farming Simulator: "The ability to have foot steps on snow and dirt?!" and then to be presented in a trailer like "Wow what a innovation!", like common now . Hope I came back here to this topic with implements before I getting elder, now I'm 26.
@JohnnyTheFarmer The lack of other games to compete with is mainly the reason. They know we are addicted to this game and modders will eventually make awesome mods and maps to get us even more addicted to it and don't bother too much with innovation. I was pre-ordering regardless of what was to come next, but I feel betrayed. FS22 was quite innovative comparing to FS19 (when I started playing), the only downside for me was the colors. FS25 looked at first that it bring new things, but when started modding, after getting used to terrain deformation and fog, after getting mad about poor optimization, I realized that the new things were more esthetic pleasing than new mechanics, better physics etc. For God's sake, 300 hp tractor to struggle uphill like a 100 hp is annoying. Also, they almost maxed out the crops but decided to still use 32 fruitTypes for base-game stuff... IDK. Giants seem focused on expanding to Switch and mobile, instead of giving us better game... I hope I won't make the mistake to pre-order again...
The menu looks better than Enhanced Loan Systemm. Let see if it is better or at least the same.
I agree with you on this.... Realism in this game should have a first place rather then the need of making money as brand this big!
Thanks alot for sharing your thoughts! You are really NOT alone on this..
@tisonK Being addicted to this game, I bought the game from the start with season pass. The same with year 2 season pass... I mostly regret my purchasing of the dlcs. Except Nexat and Higlands (for the map, not fishing, although it wasn't that bad), I didn't liked any of the dlcs...
I have decided that, unless FS28 will bring big improvements and a ton of new features, I won't buy.
I started FS25 on a gaming laptop with 3060 graphics card and the game looked horrible comparing with other games, even AAA on medium settings. Now I am playing on a MacBook m4 pro. Much better, but still heavy on performance.
The first thing they need to improve is how the engine runs. Make use of the multicore on CPUs...
For some reason it crashes when playing on macOS.
No error in log.
I got a ton of scripts and the game never crashes. Happened only a few times with some american trucks and this script.
Idea: more deep terrain deformation and mud where puddles are generated when driving with vehicles. (maybe in relation with Mud System)
@BMProd BTW. Not related idea: a script to make animals run from the tractor (and player if running, not walking) when inside the pasture...âNot sure it can be done, but at how amazing you are at scripts, maybe it can be done.
