Hi, this mod is compatible with Real Breakdown by MathisHun or enter in conflict?

@FirenzeIT Hi there, Thanks for your question and for your interest in the mod! Regarding compatibility with Real Breakdown, I would strongly advise against using them together. Both my mod and Real Breakdown are designed to completely overhaul the vehicle maintenance system, just in their own unique ways. Even if they don't cause a direct crash, running them at the same time would create a confusing and redundant experience. You would essentially have two different wear and repair systems running in parallel, forcing you to service your vehicles twice for two different sets of rules.

Great mod however there is an issue accessing the small tractors and combine menus in the shop while active

Okay, it seems there's a problem with identifying the brand of a modded vehicle. Could you please provide the full list of mods you are using so I can understand what the issue is? Open issue here - https://github.com/id577/FS25_AdvancedDamageSystem/issues and provide your mods. I'm really curious why you're having problems, so don't give up and provide a list of mods

im curious, is there a way to randomize or set the quality of a vehicle?

the reason im asking is because this mod unfortunately forces player into basically buying only the most powerful vehicle in its class (small, medium, large) to have the best condition and to have the most room for error, which means im always buying the same vehicles

there is no incentive to buy something else, because there is no such thing as "quality" when in real life youd weigh performance with reliability and price, maybe youd rather buy a vehicle with less HP but its more reliable

for example im always buying Steiger 715 quadtrac because it has the most HP, i would never buy JD9RX or Xerion 12 (unless im doing heavy roleplay)...is there a way for you to implement some sort of script as part of the mod that would change the parameters of individual vehicles? so for example if i buy JD i get less HP but the condition stat is way higher, or the threshold for overloading is 90% instead of 80%?

@barkingcat  Alright, since I already had this idea myself and now I see there's demand for it, I will implement the influence of brands on their reliability in this mod. However, it will come later. Thank you for your detailed comment!

@barkingcat I don't foresee major obstacles in implementing this, but I have very limited knowledge about agricultural machinery in general. I don't have a clear idea of which brands are considered reliable in real life and which aren't. If you possess this knowledge—please share it—and I'll handle the implementation. P.S. Не русскоязычный случайно?

@barkingcat Yes, I've been thinking about that too. Before this mod, I was writing a small script to adjust prices for modded equipment to make them balanced. However, I discovered that the prices for tractors in the base game don't always reflect their actual effectiveness. The prices often include a "brand premium," which isn't implemented in the game at all. Overall, what you're asking for is a good idea and it wouldn't be hard to implement – the foundation for it is already laid in the script. For example, using your case with the Steiger 715 and JD9RX: the first could have a base wear rate (condition loss) of 1%, and the second 0.8%, making the JD9RX 20% more reliable. But I have a couple of questions here... Could such settings be applied relative to the entire brand? Or could there be "budget" options within a top-tier brand? What do you think?
