This mod aims to create an internal competition within the single‑player game.
The competition encourages the player to continuously improve throughout the playthrough and to develop increasingly refined gameplay strategies.

Real Country Life is enhanced by Competizione. The two mods are interconnected.
In practical terms, an NPC player is added to the game — a rival farming operation that the grandfather of RCL doesn't look upon kindly.

This NPC player is a multinational corporation diversifying its business by entering the agricultural sector.
At first, its presence is limited to small fields; but over time, the mega-corporation sets its sights on larger fields across the countryside where the player operates.

The grandfather sees the mega-corporation as a competitor in his own countryside.
He pushes the player to reclaim the fields that once belonged to the family — and then the fields the competitor gradually takes over by working them as a contractor.

But the mega-corporation isn't a threat only in the grandfather's eyes — it's also a real threat to the player's own farming business.
The game's vanilla market is updated to reflect the actions of both the mega-corporation and the player.
Mega-corporation and player are rivals, and as the player fights back with their own resources, the corporation will respond with increasingly aggressive moves.
The mod is currently being developed separately from Real Country Life, but it will most likely be integrated into it, elevating the project to version 2.0.
Further updates will follow in the future with more details.

Disclaimer
This mod, just like Real Country Life, is developed with the support of artificial intelligence. I consider AI a modern tool that, when used responsibly, can expand creativity and accelerate development. Handwriting did not disappear with the arrival of the printing press; likewise, the skills of developers remain essential today. If you are passionate about modding, your work will continue to make a difference — AI is simply another tool available to creators.
I appreciate constructive feedback and invite you to share your ideas with a collaborative spirit.
thank you

trivia: the term "competizione" remains untranslated and stays in Italian as a tribute to brands like Ferrari and Alfa Romeo.
