Didn't expect to make any more releases for FS22, but here we are! (don't worry more FS25 stuff is on the way)
I stumbled upon this mod about a week ago on Kingmods and because it was insanely close (off by 5) from my JX70 I downloaded the mod to find it resembled the JX, but was in dire need of help. the Dash was broken, lights all over the shop, 3 point linkage didn't line up, and to top it off the gear levers did not move.
Normally I'd delete a mod like this, especially if it came from a somewhat shady source, however this is the first i've seen of someone attempting to make a JX very close to my beloved Little Red Tractor so I decided I'd throw myself in the deep end and try to rescue the tractor.
3 days of xml work, tinkering with the i3d file, and searching the internet for the tractor this one was built from later, and I can officially call the tractor... functional.
It's not pretty, it's not state of the art, but it's a functional Utility tractor and it'll do any job you ask of it without complaints:
This mod includes:
3 engine models JX75 - 75hp, JX95 - 95hp, JX100 - 100hp
- All these are fitted with a manual transmission with 16 speeds (4 gears in 3 ranges) with animated gear levers taken from a New holland TD90
- Custom Sounds recorded from my 2007/8 Case IH Jx70
- The Rops option has been given a rear light that provides some visibility where required
- And there's an option for the attacher joints whether you want to use the raised EU style hitch above the PTO or the Drawbar pin hitch for your trailers.
There's still a few things I want to fix on this mod eventually, which will be done when it comes time to release the finished conversion to FS25. But for now, I thought I'd release it as-is so people can have a not broken version of the tractor.
