International 1490 - 1590

Designed by International Harvester, the 1490 and 1590 Mower Conditioners were equipped with a three-point lifting system, this system allows lateral and vertical floating to ensure the head removes every last piece of stem from the root.

Once the stem is cut, its movement through the system is smooth and careful.
An auger, pushed inward by the reel, moves the outer hay toward the center, where it passes to reinforced rubber rollers manufactured to tight tolerances.

This ensures that each piece of stem is pressed and shredded to be rolled up, in less time to dry, but also properly supported to ensure no leaves are lost.
You can also adjust your swath using the conveniently placed handle at the rear.

Apart from the 1190, these haystacks are equipped with a Hydroswing which makes turns easier and faster, so you don't waste time mowing.

The Hydroswing includes a large capacity PTO pump that not only supplies electricity to the hay box, but is also easy to use.

Maintenance is also easy with simple, hinged side guards that fold up and stay out of the way so you can service your important parts.

The 1490 is 12 feet 3 inches (3.7 m) wide and the 1590 is 14 feet 3 inches wide.
Both are equipped with clutch extensions to facilitate tight turns, can reach operating speeds of up to 11 km/h and are designed for 60 HP tractors.
