Love your work, this mod is fantastic!
Feature request: external crop-definition file (modSettings, e.g. rwsmCustomCrops.xml or .lua) that gets merged into the internal CROP table at startup, same fields as the built-in table (root, optMin/optMax, drought, wet, n, ph, phTol, ky, kcMid, comp, tempMin/Opt/Max). Would let users add proper moisture/yield tuning for modded crops without editing rainstarAgronomy.lua directly, which gets overwritten every update.
Bug: Ground never fully dries out, even on high-elevation/high-slope fields (Etruria Map)
Symptoms:
- After 24+ hours with zero rain, field wetness rarely drops below ~30%, even with the drying-speed settings turned up.
- This happens on high-elevation, high-slope fields, not just low-lying ground — so it doesn't seem tied to the lowland/pocket terrain classification, it's affecting the whole map fairly uniformly.
- Tested with Local Wetness enabled.
What I'd expect: dry, sunny days with no rain should bring wetness down close to baseline within a day, especially on well-drained (sloped/high) terrain.
Happy to share my save/settings or test a build if useful.
These headers seem to need a lot more power than other similar sized ones
Works great with Enhanced Livestock mod but the economy needs adjusting - it's currently more profitable to just sell the animals than to process them. It would be nice if existing sellpoints could be used as well as the included one. (I only tested with pigs)
Why not potatoes too?
