FS25 Car Wash – Drive-Through Wash Bay for Tractors, Trucks & Combines
Hi everyone,
I’m currently working on a new mod and want to give you a first look at what’s coming: a fully working drive-through car wash as a placeable building for Farming Simulator 25. No “press a button and it’s clean”. This is a real wash bay that pulls your vehicles through automatically.
What it can already do
🚜 Fits almost every vehicle and combination
Tractors, trucks with trailers, combines and full combinations up to 22 m long
Up to 4.6 m wide and 4.15 m high
Combines with the header on a header trailer or with a folded header
If something is too wide, too high or too long, the wash tells you
⚙️ Fully automatic process
Park the vehicle on the lane, get out, start it at the self-service terminal
The wash straightens the combination (even trailers hanging at an angle) and pulls it through the hall on a conveyor belt
Roller doors open and close automatically, the traffic light switches between red and green
An emergency stop button on the terminal releases the vehicle at any time
📏 Sensors that detect the actual vehicle shape
Before washing, the vehicle is scanned: height, width, cab, hood, trailer
Roof brushes, side brushes and the dryer follow the shape and lift in time when something taller comes along
The bristles press against the vehicle and visibly bend, without clipping into it
🧽 Complete wash process
Foam arch: the vehicle is visibly covered in white foam
2 brush gantries with rotating brushes; the roof brushes have a coiled cable that stretches as they move up and down
Rinse with a wide fan spray
Drying with a roof blower and side blowers whose fans spin during operation
After one pass, the vehicle is clean and dry
🔊 Sounds for foam, water, brushes, blowers, doors and the start signal
🖥️ Terminal with a working display: shows “READY” and a remaining-time countdown during the wash
💡 Lighting
LED light strips inside the hall, switchable by light switch or automatically by time of day
Blue indirect exterior lighting under the roof edge
🏗️ Detailed building: glass facade, skylights, rooftop AC unit, tiled floor, concrete slab with entry and exit ramps, pump station and much more
👥 Multiplayer support is prepared
What’s still planned
Cost per wash (charged to your account)
Optimized textures (DDS) and GIANTS shaders for better looks and performance
Thorough testing in multiplayer and on dedicated servers
New shop image and polishing of details
More ideas (e.g. different wash programs or a wider version), depending on your feedback
Release: The mod is still a work in progress. I’m testing everything in-game right now and will let you know as soon as it’s finished.
