Technical Characteristics and Chassis Architecture
Base Platform and Drivetrain: The SBA-60K2 Bulat is built upon a modified chassis derived from the KAMAZ family of commercial and military trucks (specifically utilizing components from the KAMAZ-4326), configured in a 6x6 all-wheel-drive system that delivers high mobility across unpaved terrain.
MRAP Design and Mine Protection: It features a V-hull bottom architecture engineered to dissipate blast energy and effectively protect the crew against landmines and improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
Ballistic Armor: Its body is composed of welded steel plates providing protection against small arms fire and shell splinters, complemented by armored glass viewports to maintain situational awareness.
Troop Capacity: It is designed to accommodate an operational crew and a full infantry squad (holding up to 10 fully equipped personnel), who can rapidly embark and disembark via rear doors and roof hatches.
