Where can one find that side boom tractor?
Something I just noticed, If you clear off a forested area, you cannot turn it into a field. I just cleared most of the trees around the dealership, with the plan of turning it into a grassy area with trees. Have tried using a plow to create the field as well as a mods in the modhub. No dice.
While your map isn't my preferred 4x map size, your road system more than makes up for this allowing me to make those drives to town or the animal supply in a beautifully done space. Nicely done and thank you.
Which map were the photos taken?
Found something on farm 10 in the far south. Went to cut the grass to prepare to make hay, and it has disappeared. It isn't dropping the cuttings.
Edit: Just confirmed that it will only drop grass when the grass is in a defined field. Any grassy areas outside of fields, whether you own them or not will not drop cut grass.
The map is beautiful. The only thing I would change is to make all of the land ( including roads and wooded areas along the maps edge ) available for purchase. I only say this as I prefer to have a small cow or sheep operation with a field or two for support, spending the rest of my time thinning out forests and planting saplings to replenish. Thanks.
Huge map, which I love. I think adding a 4-lane highway or a divided highway would be great on this map due to its size. Also, would be beneficial if the roads were purchasable with a small edge left and right as right of way. But so far, after milling about on the southern portion of the map I like it. Now to find some space up north for a feedlot in one corner and get some heifers moving about.
I have noticed that if you cut the meadow grass, it will not grow back at all as it does on some other maps I have played.
Absolutely love the map, spending a lot of time up near the main farm. On the next update, would it be possible to make all of the land purchasable?
