It’s a brilliant mod, until you start working in open fields, whether you're plowing or using large planters and seeders. Once you do that, it becomes a total FPS killer. I have powerful hardware running with DLSS 5 at a locked 120 FPS, but as soon as I start working the field, it drops to 44-52. It’s an awesome mod, but unfortunately, it’s just not well-optimized.
My config: Ryzen 7 5700x3d, 64gb ram 3200mhz 2x32GB, RTX 5070 ti, Samsung NVME Evo Pro 2tb. DLL DLSS 5, no reshade, no framegen, 1440p.
I have an AI RAG system with all the official Giants lua scripting documentation for FS25, including script instructions/skills and the API. I'm going to do a complete analysis of the .lua files to see if I can identify what can be tweaked so it stops being an FPS killer, but it might just be engine limitations considering Giants Engine has always been terrible.
I want to make it clear that this is just my feedback, not a critique of the author BMProd. I’ve always hated how the FS game series from Giants is so extremely arcadey, like it was made for brainless players, which is what pushed me to learn lua just to write scripts and make FS25 feel a bit real. I’m really grateful to modders like BMProd for creating such amazing scripts and for making the FS25 less stupid.
I think it's amazing how your mods have values that are very close to the realistic IRL. As someone who likes to play as realistically as possible, I really appreciate mods like these. So, thank you very much
