    AnimalHerding – a Lite mod for FS25 by Arrow. It includes the basic herding functionality of AnimalHerding, but without the advanced features that are still under development or theoretically exist. These advanced features include customized animal behavior, animations, navigation grids, and pathfinding, which replace the engine's default behavior. This requires rewriting most of the animal system from scratch, largely without reference code, as this code is hidden within the engine. AnimalHerding is in advanced development but is not yet playable. Once completed, the mod will allow for more dynamic animal interactions, such as dynamic milking parlors, individualized animal behavior (limping, tame, scared, ready to escape, etc.), and much more. AnimalHerding is a lite mod for FS25 that replaces the basic herding function with individual behaviors (e.g., limping, friendly, scared, ready to escape) and much more. Features: Button to toggle herding on and off in the current stable. When this option is enabled, all animals in the stable can be herded. Herdable animals react to the player and will walk/run away if the player approaches. Otherwise, they will graze/stay randomly. Herdable animals are added to a stable as soon as they enter its range (e.g., the fenced area) and can then no longer be herded. This mod allows you to dynamically herd all your animals at will. While herding, the animals move away from the player, allowing them to be interactively moved between pastures. The Lite version of this mod only allows herding between stables, while the full version offers more dynamic features such as pathfinding, stable navigation, custom animations, individual behavior, and more. The entire visual animal system has been moved from the engine to LUA scripts, allowing for significantly greater control over the animals. This mod allows you to dynamically herd all animals as you wish. Animals will stop in front of buildings, objects, vehicles, and other animals, allowing you to create routes for them, as shown in the provided screenshots. Animals react to players in vehicles as well as players on foot. Therefore, you can use vehicles like ATVs to herd the animals. To begin herding, you must be in a stable and then press the "Start Herding" button (by default, left Shift + N). All visible animals in that stable can then be herded and will respond to the player. Animals being herded are automatically moved to a stable as soon as they enter it, with the exception of their original stable. This stable will only become available again after they have left the previous stable for a certain period of time. Alternatively, you can press the "Stop Herding" button. All herded animals will then be moved to the nearest stable, if one is available. Currently, only single-player mode is supported; multiplayer is planned. It is also planned that animals will follow the player when they are carrying a food bag. It is not recommended to keep animals together in barns with very high floors, as the animals could get stuck.

    This mod adjusts the animal system and expands it with the following features: - Animals have both male and female offspring (In the base game, this only applies to chickens) - The number of offspring is breed-specific - Reproduction is not dependent on health - Reproduction can be started manually or automatically - Male animals can start reproduction automatically - Reproduction that is not triggered by male animals costs a fee per animal (prices depend on the breed) - Reproduction can fail depending on how long ago the last birth was and how old the animal is. - Milk production and feed consumption of cows has been adjusted to the lactation curve. Cows consume more feed after giving birth, but also produce more milk. Both decrease over time. Milk production even stops completely if a cow has not had offspring for a long time. - Cows are dry for 2 months before giving birth. This means they do not produce any milk during this time. - Animals can live longer than 60 months. - Animals become less healthy when they are in poor health. - Animals become less healthy when they reach their maximum age. - Stables can hold more animals than specified due to reproduction.
