Too frequent maintenance drains your bank account, but waiting too long leads to breakdowns at the most inopportune moment. Find the right balance. Real consequences and risks. How you treat your equipment directly impacts its lifespan and reliability. An old, worn-out tractor feels different than a new one—it could give up the ghost in the middle of a field during harvest. Will you push your old machine to its limits and risk everything? Or invest in new, reliable equipment? Smart brand choice. Brands today have a clear identity. What do you choose: a high-quality, reliable machine that is expensive and time-consuming to maintain? Or a cheap workhorse that frequently has minor issues but can be repaired quickly and inexpensively? With this mod, vehicle ownership becomes a real challenge for fleet management. Main functions Complete overhaul of the damage and wear system. The mod completely replaces the standard FS25 damage system with a more detailed, realistic model based on two key parameters: Condition: Represents the general mechanical wear of vehicle components. It decreases due to excessive load, overheating, and improper maintenance. Poor condition significantly increases the risk of critical breakdowns. It can only be restored through overhaul. Maintenance: Indicates the condition of consumables (oils, filters, etc.). It decreases with operating hours. Poor maintenance accelerates vehicle wear. It is restored through maintenance. Dynamic breakdown system Vehicles can break down at the most inconvenient times. The likelihood of a breakdown depends directly on their condition. Every breakdown progresses through several stages, from minor glitches to total component failure. Breakdowns can worsen over time if left unchecked. Dozens of unique malfunctions affect various systems: Engine: Engine control unit malfunction, turbocharger wear, fuel pump or injector failure, clogged carburetor (on older equipment). Transmission: Clutch slippage, synchro wear, PowerShift hydraulic failure. Braking system: Reduced braking efficiency up to total failure. Hydraulics: Slow operation of attached equipment. Electrical system: Flickering or total failure of lights, starting problems. Cooling system: Thermostat malfunction. Advanced temperature simulation This mod introduces a detailed thermal model for the engine and transmission (for modern tractors with CVT). The temperature of each component is calculated separately and depends on the load, rpm, speed, ambient temperature, and even the vehicle's level of dirt. Realistic effects of disruptions Every breakdown has a noticeable impact on vehicle behavior: reduced engine power and torque. Increased fuel consumption. Loss of power and unstable engine running. Difficulty shifting or jumping out of gears. Reduced braking efficiency. Failure of lights and hydraulics. Difficulty starting, especially when cold. Unique features for brands and vehicle age Reliability and maintainability: Different vehicle brands have different reliability ratings (which affect the rate of wear) and maintainability ratings (which affect maintenance costs and speed). Year of manufacture: The age of the vehicle influences its behavior. Older tractors, for example, lack advanced overheat protection, making them more vulnerable. Improved user interface and HUD The mod adds new interface elements to track the condition of your vehicles, including detailed information in the workshop menu and new gauges on the dashboard. Breakdown probability and maintenance intervals now depend on the vehicle's brand quality. V0.8.1.2 Fixed an issue where GPS steering assistance wouldn't work during certain breakdowns. Fixed the "ENGINE_HESITATION_CHANCE" effect, which wouldn't work when cruise control was enabled.

    This is a plugin for the Advanced Extensions Pack. Currently it adds a humidity element to the game which is used for drying crops. Crops, once harvested, can be dried in any silo configured as a storage dryer or having the capacity to hold dryable fill types. This system can be configured by adding a configuration xml to your mod card (sdk coming later). However, it does not require any configuration to be used. Unconfigured maps will record all crops within a harvest moisture range of 10 to 30 percent. Loss of yield and price can occur if you harvest/sell crops that are too wet. Moisture can be determined by simply walking across a field ready for harvest or inside vehicles/storages. I am currently working on expanding this system and making it more realistic in the future. This version is an upgrade from the previous one and is intended to give functionality while I work on the more complex version. Storage fill types that are too wet for too long will result in storage loss. This loss is even higher as the stored humidity is high. This can be adjusted by configuring placement items to be more "efficient", configured inside a map, or by using in-game settings to adjust (or disable) the rate of storage degradation overall . The menu can be accessed in-game by pressing Right Shift + 0 (default). If you encounter any problems, you can leave a message in the comments section below.     This is a project that came to life thanks to ideas/requests from my Patreon members. This first release includes the Harvest conversion module (or feature set). It's been ready for a while, but I've been working on getting the humidity system ready and wanted to wait until this part is released first. However, this moisturizing system is quite a project, so I changed my mind and decided to post this piece first for those who want to use it. In itself, it simply allows you to harvest wilted vanilla plants with a much lower yield than normal. Something like “get out what you can.” The real power comes when it is linked to a card. Map creators can use this mod similar to Placeable Colors to do more dynamic things with crops and images at harvest time. Convert any leaf to any leaf at harvest time. Convert any leaf state to any leaf state at harvest time. Convert any crop to any fill type at harvest time outside the harvest zone Convert (or remove) ground crush layer at harvest time Convert soil texture after harvest Add real chopped straw to the soil at harvest time Remove the grass layer from herbaceous plants after harvest All of this happens depending on the conditions at harvest time. For example, you may want to switch to a green stubble layer when harvesting green crops and use only a brown stubble layer when harvesting brown crops. Lots of possibilities with this one. There should be maps using this soon so you can see the system in action. This is a constantly evolving project and I plan to add more features requested by my Patreon members over time.
