General description
AdBlue (also AUS 32 or Arla 32) is an aqueous urea solution consisting of 32.5 percent urea and 67.5 percent demineralized water. With this solution, the emission of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in diesel engines is reduced by up to 90 percent. The German Association of the Automotive Industry e. V. has had the mark protected; in North America, Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is used as the name.
As far as the product AdBlue itself. In the game itself AdBlue does not cause the cleaning of the exhaust gases, of course, we do not get so anyway, which is only relevant for the taxes that may be raised sometime. But it adds a little more reality to the game. What causes AdBlue but a reduction in performance when the (AdBlue) tank of the vehicle is completely emptied, and this is noticeable, the engine electronics of the vehicle regulates the engine power down so far that the exhaust standard is not exceeded, which of course is associated with significant performance losses.
AdBlue is preset for GIANTS original vehicles, and for these vehicles the status for AdBlue can not be changed.
For mod vehicles AdBlue can be activated InGame with the key configuration Left control + Left Alt + Z, likewise it can be deactivated again with these vehicles. In multiplayer, however, this function is reserved for the admins so that normal users can not circumvent the rules of the admins.
Content of the package
The actual mod FS17_adBlueUsage.zip contains all functions necessary for this function. Also added to the game are 3 canisters of AdBlue, a 10-liter AdBlue canister from Total, a 9.6-liter DEF canister from Valvoline and a 20-liter canister from Hoyer. In addition, the AdBlue-Mod provides a trailer with which can be found under Miscellaneous in the shop and the fuel and AdBlue can load simultaneously. To use this trailer, at least with the AdBlue function, a map with a built-in AdBlue fuel pump is necessary.
We are already in the 2nd package, which does not appear in the game so easily, the contents of this package includes a refueling station for AdBlue and a warehouse for AdBlue. Furthermore, the package contains everything necessary to equip a trailer with the AdBlue tank function, description included.
