INVICTUS GERMANY focuses on people who guarantee the freedom and security of all of us through their service to their country. If they have suffered permanent physical and mental impairments due to injury, injury or illness during their service and have found their new place in the community, they deserve our respect and recognition. Because by returning to a new life, they also open up perspectives for others and give them courage and hope.
These soldiers and members of the emergency services (police, firefighters, rescue services and THW), but also their families, deserve all our support for their rehabilitation. INVICTUS GAMES uniquely show how important sport is for rehabilitation. This is why we continue. The first edition of Invictus Germany will take place on July 27 and 28, 2024 in Düsseldorf. In addition to the participation of the German INVICTUS GAMES community, nations stationed in Germany and teams from neighboring countries are invited. As was successfully achieved for the first time at the INVICTUS GAMES 2023, participants from “blue light organizations” will also be present at the games in Düsseldorf.
