I am a new Farming Simulator map creator focused on Canadian prairie realism and large-scale farming. SW Manitoba 4x is my first major FS25 project, built while learning map workflows as I go.
This was a learning project, but also a serious effort to build a realistic and enjoyable Western Canadian farming map. Feedback, bug reports, and constructive suggestions are welcome as the map continues to develop.
Found some issues with map. When unloading at Ugg elevator the camera shakes the whole time. The train that passes by that elevator glitches out and cars shift into other cars as it passes. The elevator for loading trains by the train rent place the doors are closed and won’t open. Also why did you use mud for roads. When using crop moisture or mud mod you can’t even drive on them.
@Jamie 1443 confirm your on new version of Map? I'll check the train splines near UGG. The Pool elevator is a farm, the elevator is meant for large storage to bulk sell by train. If you buy the land you'll be able to open thelevator. Gravel roads will be gravel, but yes there is one mile road that is a chicken trail IRL which I kept in map, can't have it too easy ya know.
Very little attention to the starting farms (if any) so a bit disappointing. You spent weeks or months to design this map (it's 4K) and 15 minutes to create starting farms. People like to change and modify things (I am one of them) but it would be nice to have something to work on.
@Jack Johnson thanks for the feedback. I prefabbed 4 farms that were set up with everything a person needs to get started. They are loosely modeled on the true farms. Can't think of every scenario.
The map looks interesting and feels like you've put in a lot of effort to create it. I'd just like to know if there is a no pothole version of this map? That's a lot of holes filled with water on the fields.
@MinticeGMNG - I worked the map so you "could" terrain fill the sloughs in. A few testers have done that and doesn't appear to affect performance - but caution it may, I'm not sure.
@Bubulosaure Thank you.
The only notes I have are to make all the land buyable (ditches,roads,creeks) and to make the fences removable so we can merge fields. Loving the map so far keep it up!
@HurtinAlbertan117 I thought about that - but I keep to authentic. I'll consider it in a different revision maybe.
